Over a period of decades, Rosemary Lombard has taught her pet turtles to read, “read/write,” draw pictures, use a dictionary, and perform other tasks that have been thought to be the sole province of humans.
Evidence of this claim is provided by a 33-minute YouTube video entitled “Rosemary’s Turtles,” as well as a short 6-minute piece, “Rosemary’s Turtle Draws.”
